Don’t Miss the Last Event of the Sunday Best Reading Series Season!

Join the Sunday Best Reading Series for its last event of the Winter/Spring 2011 season.  We will be enjoying readings from new books by Elaine Terranova, Elisabeth Frost, and Carol Wallace.

Take this opportunity to support local writers in the Northern Manhattan community.  Both Elisabeth Frost and Carol Wallace are Washington Heights residents.  Elisabeth Frost, a professor of English at Fordham University, is a gifted poet and a widely respected scholar who has written on feminist poetics and the avant-garde.  The author of numerous non-fiction books, Carol Wallace has recently published the historical novel Leaving Van Gogh and is raking in positive reviews from all over the literary world.

In addition, celebrated poet Elaine Terranova is traveling up to New York from Philadelphia just to take part in this reading.  We hope this event offers her a demonstration of the vibrance and dedication of the Northern Manhattan arts community.

Please join us for this last event of the Sunday Best Reading Series season. This past winter and spring have offered a panoply of stimulating and thought-provoking literary entertainment.  This afternoon’s event offers an opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate the contributions of the artists who have performed for Sunday Best so far in 2011.
